Who we are
Wink Retailers sells luxury clothing and footwear directly to customers and supplies trade buyers across the United States. Our contact details appear at the foot of every page of this website. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Wink Retailers, and "you" means a visitor to this website or a customer.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to answer an enquiry or fulfil an order:
- Information you give us — your name, business name, email address, telephone number, delivery address and the content of any message you send through a form on this site.
- Order information — the items ordered, sizes, quantities and delivery details.
- Wholesale account information — business name, resale certificate or EIN, and trading address, where you open a trade account.
- Technical information — standard server records such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, retained by our hosting provider.
Your shopping bag is stored in your own browser on your device. It is not transmitted to us until you choose to send it.
Payment information
We do not collect or store card numbers on this website. Where card payment is offered, it is handled by a third-party payment provider on their own secure systems, and card details are never held by us.
How we use your information
- To answer enquiries and provide sizing, stock or delivery information.
- To process, pack and dispatch orders, and to arrange returns or refunds.
- To prepare wholesale quotations and verify trade accounts.
- To keep records required for tax and accounting purposes.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Marketing
We only send marketing messages where you have asked to receive them. Every marketing message includes a way to unsubscribe, and withdrawing consent takes effect immediately. Order confirmations, delivery notifications and replies to your enquiries are not marketing and will continue to be sent.
Who we share information with
We share information only where it is necessary to run the business: with delivery carriers, so orders can be shipped; with payment providers, so transactions can be processed; with our hosting and email providers; and with professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it.
How long we keep information
Enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept for up to twelve months. Order and wholesale account records are kept for as long as required by tax and accounting law, and are then deleted.
Cookies and similar technologies
This website stores your shopping bag in your browser's local storage so that it survives between pages. That data stays on your device and is not sent to us. Our hosting provider may set essential cookies needed to deliver the site securely. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to certain uses of it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. This website is served over an encrypted connection. Access to order and customer records is limited to those who need it to do their job. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us.
Children
We sell clothing for children, but this website is intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
